Celebrating my 28th Rebirthday | GMQ | Filipino Martial Artist & Speaker
Today is my rebirth day! I’m sharing 28 well-earned lessons as a warrior scholar and founder, plus a chance to train with me at a special rate. ✨ Playful Spirit, Serious Vision ✨
I’ve learned that the corporate job title I fall under is called an
ADAPTIVE SYSTEMS ARCHITECT
pretty cool right? In reality, I’m a computer guy who knows how to google things and talk to people clearly
I started a new business called the Warrior Scholar Academy to be a community builder in this new age of martial arts, business, and technology
To celebrate, I want to share 28 hard-earned lessons I’ve learned for my 28th Re-Birthday.
Challenges that sharpened me into a fighter, a founder, and a forever student of life.
For those who want to grow with me, you can now train alongside me, online!
Shoutout to Chris, Danny, Divine Justice, Nikita, & the countless others who attend my virtual classes and work with me to impact the digital world
If you want to get me a present, just read this and tell me how it makes you feel! That would be the best gift of all. Email me here: [email protected]
or you can send me $20 for a coffee and some lunch lol

🥋 28 Lessons from a Budding Warrior Scholar & Martial Arts Founder
1️⃣ The greatest fights are silent. Most of our battles aren’t in the street or mats. They’re in our own minds. Against ourselves. Sharpen your tongue and hold it steady. Never point the sword to your own neck
2️⃣ Strength isn’t just muscle. True strength is in loving discipline, considerate consistency, and relentless pursuit for doing the right thing.
3️⃣ Your shins adapt like your mindset. (📖 Wolff’s Law—your bones get stronger under stress. The same applies to your willpower.) No idea why I wanted to say this one, I thought it’d be funny cuz it’s a popular video of mine
4️⃣ Teach what you love, and you’ll never be alone. I teach beginner-friendly remote job training every morning from 8-9 AM—computer skills, graphic design, and more. It never feels like a job to me. I love helping people and spending time making an impact.
5️⃣ Time is the most valuable currency. Spend it wisely. I literally make time for anyone who is free here. My 9-10 AM slots are open for personal meetings or interviews. If you’re a friend, family member, potential employee, etc I’ll make time for you if you respect my schedule.
6️⃣ Your first student is yourself. Before you lead, master your own fundamentals. Put the 10,000 hours in to truly understand what it is you want.
Only then will you BEGIN to understand
7️⃣ A warrior without a mission is just a brawler. Define your why—it will carry you through every hardship.
8️⃣ Grit > Talent. I’d rather work with someone who trains every day than someone “naturally gifted” but inconsistent.
9️⃣ A student’s growth is a teacher’s legacy. I can teach teachers to connect with their students as deeply as I do with mine. 11 AM - 12 PM sessions are reserved for advanced business leaders and martial arts instructors—to build the next generation of these instructors.

🔟 The best birthday present? Spending time with your parents. Your mother, specifically. She’s the one who birthed you. Spend time with your parents with love and respect carried high in your heart.
1️⃣1️⃣ Your body is a library of pain and power. Every injury, every bruise, every scar—each one tells a story. Learn to read, write, and artistically express your own history and use it to grow strong enough to inspire others.
1️⃣2️⃣ Respect isn’t given; it’s reflected. The way you treat others is the way they will treat you. Lead with love, and it will return to you. Faith over fear. Attractive leadership instead of pushy sales tactics
1️⃣3️⃣ The more you teach, the more you learn. Explaining something forces you to refine your understanding. Share your knowledge and consider who’s listening then adapt
1️⃣4️⃣ A strong punch is nothing without strong footwork. Power means nothing if you can’t move with it. The same applies to business, relationships, and life—don’t just build strength, build the means to adapt on the fly.
1️⃣5️⃣ Patience is a hidden weapon. In conflict, business, and personal growth, the one who can wait and outlast wins.
1️⃣6️⃣ Pain is an opponent, not an enemy. The lessons that hurt the most are the ones that shape you the most. Embrace the lesson and challenge and overcome your fear by taking a step forward. Pain will be there to teach you, not taunt you.
1️⃣7️⃣ Your circle will make or break you. Surround yourself with people who challenge you, who sharpen your mind, and who believe in your vision. No triangles, squares, cliques, etc. Only include those that care
1️⃣8️⃣ Your breath controls your body. Whether you’re fighting, speaking, or thinking under pressure—control the air, and you control the flow.
1️⃣9️⃣ You are your own superhero. The hardest truth to accept is that you are responsible for your own life. Become an unstoppable force of good. Remember to rest when you need and consider that you arent the only one alive on this earth.
2️⃣0️⃣ Every warrior needs a sanctuary. Hustle and grind are great, but if you don’t create space to recover, you will break. Find your peace—whether it’s music, solitude, or time with loved ones.
2️⃣1️⃣ Skill beats motivation. Motivation fades. Discipline and skill stay. I’ve learned that I like working in sprints. When it’s time to work, I sprint. When it’s time to rest, I relax. Swing the pendulum, follow your heart. Respect everyone
2️⃣2️⃣ A sword is useless if you don’t sharpen it. If you don’t constantly refine your skills, your knowledge, and your mindset, you’ll become dull. nuff said
2️⃣3️⃣ Your voice is your weapon. Wield it wisely. Words have weight. Use them to build, not to destroy. My father always says to me “make sure your word is worth more than gold”
2️⃣4️⃣ Consistency makes kings. The ones who show up every day—regardless of mood, circumstances, or obstacles—are the ones who build empires.
2️⃣5️⃣ Your fight is bigger than you. Whatever your struggle is, someone else is watching, learning, and drawing strength from your journey. Keep going for them.
2️⃣6️⃣ A fight is won before it begins. Whether in combat, business, or personal challenges—those who prepare in advance are already at an advantage.
2️⃣7️⃣ Growth is uncomfortable. Get used to it. Every level up requires shedding an old version of yourself. That process will feel like loss—but it’s really transformation.
2️⃣8️⃣ Your legacy is built in small moments. It’s not about grand victories or perfect outcomes. It’s about how you show up, every day, for the people who count on you.
